RCF #5 – Main Station 2/SSE & Zone 6 Feeder

AMC/ISI delivered the full design and construction of a 10MW medium-voltage underground power distribution system under a MATOC contract. The scope included installing a direct-buried feeder line, containerized switchgear housed on precast concrete foundations, and all related civil and electrical works. The project was completed within a 240-day period, requiring accelerated procurement and multimodal logistics. The result was enhanced power reliability and reduced reliance on spot generation across the camp.

Camp Buehring – SSB 14–18 LV Connections

AMC/ISI executed the LV connection of five substations under MATOC Task Order FY23-006 AMD-02, enhancing Camp Buehring’s electrical distribution in line with the Master Planning 2030 strategy. The scope included termination, trenching, load balancing, and demolition of outdated switchgear, all coordinated with key stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted base operations. Despite extreme weather conditions, the project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. The result was a more reliable power system with reduced reliance on spot generators and improved long-term efficiency.

Design-Build Medium Voltage Power Project

AMC/ISI delivered the full design and implementation of an 11kV medium-voltage power distribution ring and substation network at a major U.S. military base. The turnkey project included 21,000 feet of MV cabling, nine substations, six sectionalizing cabinets, two 4MVA transformers, and major upgrades to the plant’s switchgear and control systems. AMC managed all trenching, civil works, commissioning, and delivered O&M manuals with technical training. Despite logistical challenges, the project was commissioned ahead of schedule and reduced reliance on spot generation while ensuring long-term reliability and compliance with U.S. and local standards.

Arifjan Zone West – Perimeter Lighting System

AMC/ISI delivered a complete design-build perimeter lighting system for Zone 5 at Camp Arifjan, enhancing security and nighttime operations. The project involved the installation of LED stadium-grade lights on 10-meter poles, over 10,000 feet of underground cabling, automatic lighting controls, and backup power systems. Despite a compressed 240-day timeline, AMC completed the project on time, meeting all U.S. and Kuwaiti specifications and providing reliable, energy-efficient lighting across the western perimeter.

Arifjan Zones 6 & 7 – Perimeter Lighting System

Under a MATOC contract, AMC/ISI completed the design and construction of a permanent perimeter lighting and backup power system for Zones 6 and 7 at Camp Arifjan. The project included the installation of LED stadium-grade fixtures, over 23,000 feet of underground cabling, automated lighting controls, and connection to guard towers. Despite a tight 240-day deadline, AMC delivered a fully compliant, energy-efficient solution that enhanced perimeter visibility and base security.

66kV Substation and 13.2kV Switchgear Upgrade

Client: MTNT Energy, Inc.

AMC/ISI delivered the modernization of a 40-year-old substation and distribution network at Joint Base Andrews, including the installation of 66kV and 13.2kV switchgear, fiber optic communication systems, and complete building refurbishment. Despite permitting and environmental delays, AMC ensured zero disruption to base operations through phased execution and collaborative scheduling, resulting in a fully upgraded, remotely monitored electrical system.
