




Arifjan Zone West – Perimeter Lighting System
Location: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI delivered a permanent perimeter lighting solution for Zone 5 at Camp Arifjan, including design, installation, and full integration of LED fixtures, underground cabling, concrete foundations, and backup power. Despite a tight 240-day schedule, AMC completed the project on time with automated controls and full compliance with U.S. and Kuwaiti standards—enhancing nighttime visibility and security across the base.





Arifjan Zones 6 & 7 – Perimeter Lighting System
Location: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI delivered a full design-build lighting and backup power system for Zones 6 and 7 at Camp Arifjan. The project included over 23,000 feet of buried LV/MV cabling, LED stadium-grade fixtures, concrete foundations, and automated controls with photo sensors. Despite a highly compressed schedule, the system was fully commissioned on time—enhancing perimeter visibility, safety, and operational reliability.

Parwan Facilities – Electrical Remediation
Location: Parwan, Afghanistan
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI completed full electrical remediation for five occupied facilities in Parwan, including housing units, a food court, a community center, and court buildings. The existing substandard systems were removed and replaced with fully code-compliant electrical installations. Despite access challenges and shifting schedules, the project was delivered on time and within budget—ensuring long-term safety and system reliability.

Camp Avenger – Utility Grid Expansion for New Housing
Location: Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI expanded BAF’s utility grid to power newly constructed housing at Camp Avenger. The scope included new service drops, two 13.8kV feeders, two 1000kVA transformers, and four 208V main distribution panels. Despite access restrictions and debris challenges, AMC completed the project in just 47 days—well ahead of the 90-day schedule—enabling early relocation from overcrowded and overheated quarters.


BAF Perimeter & Street Lighting Installation and O&M
Location: Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI sports-field lights spaced every 150 feet around the perimeter and 400W fixtures along Disney Avenue. Despite frequent damage from insurgent activity, AMC/ISI adapted designs to reduce theft and vandalism. The lighting systems remained operational under AMC’s maintenance until 2015, significantly improving safety for base personnel.

Camp Eggers – UPS Facility & TCF Infrastructure Upgrade
Location: Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan
Client: Program Manager – Power Projection Enablers (PM-P2E)
AMC/ISI delivered a full-scale backup power and facility upgrade for Camp Eggers’ Tactical Control Facility (TCF). The project included the construction of an elevated steel platform-mounted UPS facility housing dual 160kVA units and HVAC systems, as well as full renovation of the existing TCF building. Despite site space restrictions, security constraints, and the need for phased power transfer, AMC/ISI executed all works with zero operational downtime—completing the project on time and to the client’s full satisfaction.

Brigade Headquarters Electrical Upgrade
Location: Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan
Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District
AMC/ISI performed a full electrical reinstallation of the 5,400 sq. ft. Brigade Headquarters at BAF to resolve critical Life, Health, and Safety violations. The scope included complete removal and NEC-compliant replacement of all conduit, panels, receptacles, and lighting systems. Despite the 30-day performance window and an active, occupied facility, AMC/ISI completed the project two days early, minimizing operational disruption through strategic night-shift execution.
